As Lois worked in the kitchen, Jeremiah asks Lois to sit on the couch while he put on a
video for everyone. Thinking it’s from a wedding he recently officiated, she was like
“just put it on,” because she had already seen it. He was persistent and asked her to
come sit down again. She says “fine… whatever.” As she sits down in her cute socks on
the couch, her friend Stacy Blythe - the EVP of Promotion for Big Loud Records
(Nashville) - is there. Not surprising, because they worked together for many years and
on this day, March 3, 2023, it was Morgan Wallen’s record release day. It was kind of
natural because she talked all day about it on 102.5 KNIX and 95.5 The Bull (KWNR Las
Vegas). Stacy thanked her for being there for Morgan since day one, etc. and says
“there’s someone who wants to say hi.” Right there on her tv, Morgan Wallen is
speaking to her and her family. It is rare and very special, but it was his album release
date, so nothing out of the ordinary. He thanks Lois and says it's a special day for him.
It's what he says next that changes everything.
Morgan Wallen says - “but I hear it’s an important day for you too - what’s going on
over there, huh…?” Lois turns to Jeremiah, getting on one knee. Shocked. As he tells
her how much she means to him and how much he loves her, she’s thinking, wow this
is cool to show his love in front of the kids and the moms. Then from behind his back,
a little box with the ring he picked out long before he ever knew her. Jeremiah being
from Colorado and attending a Rockies game years prior, took a picture of a tanzanite
ring he saw on an ad that popped up for the Shane Co. The DAY AFTER that Dierks
Bentley concert, way back in 2021, he searched for that picture. And then, two years
later, with the help of Shane Co., found THAT ring, swapped Tanzanite for Amethyst
and BOOM: There's her ring! Purple being both their favorite color this ring was
perfect. Love was in the making long before this day. God definitely had a hand in
this. It gets better, the best part Jeremiah asked Lois’s dad for her hand. He asked her
mom separately as well.
Although her hair was not purple at the time, the engagement was still perfect and
amazing! The love, laughter, tears and the friendship they built before anything else
shines so bright! Their Faith is really important to them and a key part of their
relationship is with each other and God.
Both Lois and Jeremiah stated that their favorite moment from the wedding day was
their vows. Although, written at the last minute, they were solid, so special, true to
them, and very emotional. These vows were more than just words, they were the most
complimented part of the entire day. The family, the wedding itself, the reception, all
so much fun and amazing - but to the core, it was the VOWS. It was the promises they
made to each other on that day that was the best.
